White County High School Career Academy

Sparta, Tennessee

The WCHS Career Academy is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Facility for the high school as well as the entire White County community. The facility, which is an adaptive reuse of a former Food Lion grocery store, will accommodate labs for Mechatronics, STEM, Information Technology, and Clinical Teaching for Health Sciences. Additional classrooms are provided to support the Health Science and other technical education curriculum’s. The computer lab is adaptable for different scenarios, including teaching and testing. An administration suite is provided and includes an accommodation for support from Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT).

The entire design and construction schedule will occur within 12 months. The project bid in budget and the bids were received with only an 8% spread. This demonstrates our proven ability to produce excellent construction documents.
