Prescott South PreK-8

Cookeville, Tennessee

A brand new concept for Putnam County, this project combines a pre-K through 4th elementary school with a 5th through 8th middle school. The result is two independent grade structures each with separate entrances, administrative offices, classroom wings, gymnasiums, libraries, and cafeteria spaces.

"On a project the size of Prescott we generate 300-400 coordination items and conduct hours of meetings with the design architect to proactively resolve the issues prior to falling on the critical path. Our architects told me, 'We don’t need a meeting with those guys, their documents are exceptional.'" -Jeff Johnson, president, VCC, general contractor
