Oak Ridge Public Library

Oak Ridge, Tennessee

The goal of this project is for the City of Oak Ridge to become a 21st century library offering exceptional library services for future generations of Oak Ridgers. A dynamic expansion of stacks, children and teen spaces as well as a dramatic expansion of the City of Oak Ridge Oral History Center is planned. Respecting the original brutalist modern architecture, the new addition realigns for a convenient entry to the library and meeting spaces and revamps the current civic courtyard. Its image will reinforce the City of Oak Ridge and its technological leadership.
