Oak Ridge Manhattan Project National Historical Museum

Oak Ridge, Tennessee

A collaborative project by the National Park Service, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the City of Oak Ridge, this project combines the Manhattan Project museum in the same building complex with the Oak Ridge Public Library. Working with the civic park, the project will form a strong civic complex at the center of Oak Ridge and develop a quadrangle also relating to the American Museum of Science and Energy. The grand museum hall will feature displays which tell the world-changing story of the Manhattan Project and Oak Ridge's role in it.
