Jarrod is joining the redChair studio as a seasoned architect. He recently traded brown earth for green earth by migrating east from Albuquerque, NM; to his new home of Knoxville, TN. His roots in the Southwest raised him in one of the of the oldest neighborhoods in Albuquerque. This community shaped his desire to design architecture that looks ahead while remembering how history and culture can inform our built environments. Jarrod has over 15 years of architectural experience in a multitude of project types and scales including higher education, commercial, educational and custom residential. The diversity of his project experience include a demonstration smart grid to the largest recreation center for a higher education facility at Ohio State University to some of the finest, award winning homes in the Southwest. Jarrod is well traveled, having visited South America, Europe, the Middle East and Japan. He is also married to a talented architect who is now teaching at the University of Tennessee’s College of Architecture & Design; together they are blessed to have two wonderful children who are equally excited about being in Tennessee.
