Lauren Rogers, our new full-time intern architect, has joined the Red Chair Architects team. Rogers is a 2010 graduate of the architecture program at the University of Tennessee (UT) and was a team leader for the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design Solar Decathlon. Through this position Rogers collaborated with students and professionals of other areas, such as engineering and graphic design. Also, during her time at the UT, Rogers interned with two architecture firms in her home town of Chattanooga, Tenn. Her well-rounded experiences, skills and passion will make her an asset to our firm.

Alexander Stinchcomb, our new summer intern architect, is the second addition to the Red Chair Architects team. Stinchcomb was a former submarine mechanic and engineer for the United States Navy prior to enrolling in the University of Tennessee’s Architecture program. In addition to currently being a student in the architecture program, Stinchcomb is also a drawing teaching assistant for first year architecture students.
The problem-solving, supervising, teaching, researching and logistics skills learned in the Navy provided a solid foundation for a successful career in architecture. His past experiences will no doubt have a profound effect upon the Red Chair team. Please join us in welcoming Lauren and Alexander to the team!
